So with All-star weekend here (and actually now coming to a close) I got to thinking about what if we did the same. Honestly, I dont think we will ever get a chance to (since most people just want to play not watch others try to out-do one another) but i still think it's something fun to think about. Here would be the events:
Skills Competition-Just like the one in the nba, a test of your ability to shoot, pass, and move around with the basketball.
3pt Shootout-Self explanatory
Layup Competition-Since none of us can really do a dunk a layup comp. is in order. The idea is the same, you can use props and the goal is to have the best looking and highest difficult in terms of laying up the ball.
All-Star game-A game of 5 on 5, with a North team (people from Chicago, Schaumburg, Melrose, Northlake, and Franklin Park) and a South Team (people from Bolingbrook, Plainfield, Joliet, and Romeoville).
So if you had 5 participants per activity (ten for the allstar) who would they be?

Skills Competition-Jesus, Nauman, Zuhair, Tahir, Naveel (I think the skills competition is for not just the ones who have a high ability in each area, but have a desire to compete in that area.) Winner-Naveel
